About Me

I am an e-commerce data analyst with 10 years of experience building and running an online retail operation from the ground up.

I managed the practical work behind it: product catalogs, pricing, supplier costs, inventory, marketplace sales, fulfillment, and Excel reporting. That experience taught me to look past sales totals and ask which products make money, where inventory is tied up, whether discounts work, and whether the numbers can be trusted.

Today, I use SQL—PostgreSQL, Snowflake, and BigQuery—along with Python, Tableau, and Excel to analyze e-commerce sales, customer, product, advertising, payment, and tracking data. I use AI to speed up repetitive work and documentation, then validate the data and calculations before using them.

I combine e-commerce operating experience with current analytics tools to help owners get clear answers from their data.

What I can help answer

Sales and Revenue AnalyticsUnderstand Why Sales Changed

  • Explain why sales increased or decreased.
  • Check whether the business received more or fewer orders.
  • Check whether customers spent more or less per order.
  • Measure how product choices, prices, discounts, and refunds affected sales.

Purchase Tracking Accuracy AnalyticsMake Sure Shopify and GA4 Agree

  • Find paid Shopify orders missing from GA4.
  • Find GA4 purchases recorded more than once.
  • Find GA4 purchases with no matching paid Shopify order.
  • Find purchases recorded with the wrong amount.
  • Calculate how much reported revenue is affected by these problems.

Marketing and Advertising AnalyticsCheck Whether Meta Ads Produce Real Business Results

  • Compare Meta’s reported purchases with actual paid Shopify orders.
  • Find campaigns that spend money without producing enough confirmed sales.
  • Find campaigns that look successful in Meta but produce weak sales or profit.
  • Compare confirmed sales and profit from paid orders linked to different Meta campaigns.
  • Show how much advertising activity can be matched to actual orders before recommending budget changes.

Customer AnalyticsUnderstand Why Customers Buy, Leave, or Return

Buy

  • Follow observed website visits from the landing page through product viewing, cart, checkout, and payment.
  • Compare customer behavior across landing pages and advertising sources.
  • Check whether checkout activity recorded in GA4 led to paid Shopify orders.

Leave

  • Find where the most customers leave before completing a purchase.
  • Separate possible website problems from changes in visitors or inaccurate tracking.

Return

  • Measure how many customers return for another purchase and how long they take to return.
  • Compare customers acquired during different periods.
  • Find customer groups that produce the most repeat sales and profit.
  • Identify which products and marketing sources bring customers who keep buying.

Product and Profitability AnalyticsFind Which Products and Orders Make Money

  • Calculate the money remaining after discounts, refunds, and recorded costs.
  • Include product, shipping, fulfillment, payment, and dispute costs.
  • Find products that sell well but leave little profit.
  • Find individual orders that lose money.
  • Explain which costs caused profit margins to rise or fall.

Payment and Payout Reconciliation AnalyticsFind Unexplained Differences

  • Match Shopify payments, refunds, fees, disputes, balance transactions, and payouts.
  • Find transactions that cannot be matched.
  • Explain differences caused by normal payment-processing time.
  • Separate documented adjustments from unexplained differences.
  • Calculate the value of transactions that still need investigation.

Promotion and Bundle Profitability AnalyticsCheck Whether Discounts and Bundles Make Money

  • Measure sales and profit from discount codes and automatic promotions.
  • Find promotions attached to orders that lose money.
  • Check whether higher order values also produce higher profit.
  • Compare bundles with the same products sold separately.
  • Check whether bundle sales increased while sales of related products declined.

Subscription AnalyticsUnderstand Subscription Revenue and Cancellations

Requires Shopify, subscription-platform, and payment records.

  • Separate customers who canceled from customers whose payments temporarily failed.
  • Measure how many failed payments were later collected.
  • Explain changes in monthly subscription revenue.
  • Separate new subscriptions, upgrades, downgrades, cancellations, payment failures, and recovered payments.
  • Find subscription customer groups with weak retention or profit after costs.
